Cordell thrives in the creative domain, which has translated into a successful art career. In 2014 Cordell went from the canvas to the stage, collaborating on the dance production “Cordaro World” with choreographer Amber Brescia bringing his paintings to life. The dance was performed at MuCCC Theater and RAPA as part of the Rochester Fringe Festival. Ever mindful of embracing new creative possibilities Cordaro started Art House Press magazine. As founder/editor-in-chief of Art House Press, Cordell sees an opportunity to tell the stories of artists and make their art accessible to anyone online. I have been a photographer for over twenty years and love what I do. After graduating from Colorado Institute of Arts with the “Best Advertising Photography Portfolio” I moved to NYC to gain experience and landed an internship with Annie Leibovitz’s studio. After working with Annie and her team for three months, I moved back to Denver to assist for Dennis Lane. From there, broke out on my own. These days, I can be found in Rochester, N.Y. happily creating iconic portraits for the commercial and editorial industry.

John Schlia has been a photographer for most of his life, following in his father’s footsteps. After earning a BFA from the University at Buffalo he founded his own studio. He began photographing weddings, and since moving to Rochester in 2007 his studio has grown to include portraits, events and commercial work. Recently John has become a member of Dudes Night Out Artist Collective and has been nominated twice as Best Local Photographer in CITY Newspaper’s Best of Rochester. This led to John photographing for CITY Newspaper and the Democrat and Chronicle.
